What is Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)?
An opioid use disorder is defined as a problematic pattern of opioid use (such as Heroin, Morphine, Codeine, and semi-synthetic opioids like Oxycodone and Hydrocodone or synthetic Fentanyl) that leads to serious impairment or distress.
Check if you suffer from Opioid Use Disorder.
Methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone are used to treat opioid dependence and addiction to short-acting opioids. People may safely take these for months, years, or even a lifetime. I ONLY prescribe Buprenorphine-naloxone(such as Suboxone) and Naltrexone products at this time.
What is telemedicine?
Currently, there is a scarcity of providers who offer OUD treatment with the convenience of telemedicine. Telemedicine is a tactful service that respects patient privacy, and time; it is accessible with most digital devices. It can be very effective for people who are committed to the recovery and harm-reduction process without the hassle of making a clinical office visit.
